LNY TNZ started out as a duo from Vlaardingen in the Netherlands, with Jan Stadhouders and Mitchell Vreeswijk joining forces in 2003. Their slogan 'FVCK GENRES' says a lot about their approach: genre labels mean nothing to them, and they've moved freely between EDM, hardstyle and festival music throughout their career. A big milestone came in 2016 when they earned a double platinum award, and tracks like Burn It Down and Set You Free got solid airplay on Dutch stations Radio 538 and SLAM! alongside a growing international festival presence across Europe, Asia and North America. In 2019, Vreeswijk stepped away from the group after opening up about panic attacks, depression and anxiety, and Stadhouders has kept LNY TNZ going since then. A notable moment came around 2021 when the track So Easy, made together with Da Tweekaz, became the first hardstyle track added to the game Fortnite. Stadhouders also launched FVCK GENRES as a standalone record label, giving other artists a platform under that same banner.
