About
Best known for the single "Broken", lovelytheband spent the better part of 2018 dominating alternative radio. The track topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart for seven consecutive weeks and the Rock Airplay chart for nine, while also cracking the top 30 of the Hot 100. Not bad for a band that formed after vocalist Mitchy Collins and guitarist Jordan Greenwald met at a nightclub in West Hollywood. Their debut album Finding It Hard to Smile arrived in August 2018, followed by Conversations with Myself About You in 2020, which included the Foster the People collab "Heartbreak of America", a song tackling gun violence and political division co written by Mark Foster. The band has kept busy since, releasing two more records: If We're Being Honest in 2023 and a self titled album in 2024, showing they have plenty more to say beyond that breakthrough hit.
