About
Lovesick Duo are a two piece from Bologna who have built their sound entirely around American roots music, specifically country, Western Swing and rockabilly. Paolo Roberto Pianezza handles acoustic and electric guitars, dobro and lap steel, while Francesca Alinovi plays upright bass and occasionally brushes the drum skins to keep the groove moving. Together they make a genuinely infectious racket, and the enthusiasm they bring to a live show is the thing people keep talking about. Over the years they have carved out a real place for themselves in the rootsmusic world, winning over audiences who came in as casual listeners and left as converts.
