About
Luca Takes is a singer songwriter from Zaandam who has already built a local following in his early twenties. His songs swing between two moods: "Standing And Staring" is an energetic, danceable track, while "Mirror" is a raw, fragile ballad. His debut solo album is called "MY FRIENDS ALL THINK I'M GOING INSANE". Straight after finishing it, he went into the studio to rehearse with his band, with no plan to write anything new. A second album came out of those sessions anyway, with emotionally heavy songs like "Martyr Complex" and a big shout along number called "Deserve To Be Desired". He plays live with that band.
