Luísa Sonza built her following through YouTube covers before Universal Music Group came calling in 2017, and she has barely slowed down since. Born in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, she released her debut album Pandora in 2018, followed by Doce 22 in 2021, an album she dropped on her 23rd birthday. That second record featured collabs with Lulu Santos and a remix alongside Marília Mendonça, while the same year saw her pop up on a Katy Perry remix with Bruno Martini. Her third studio album, Escândalo Íntimo, arrived in 2023 and includes a collaboration with Demi Lovato on the track Penhasco2. She has also branched out into television, appearing in Brazilian shows and co hosting the HBO Max series Queen Stars alongside Pabllo Vittar. Recent uploads hint at her working across pop, funk and forró sounds, pulling in names like Ludmilla and Anitta, which tells you everything about the kind of orbit she moves in.
