About
Also known as: Carey, Mariah, M. Carey, Mariah, Mariah Carrey, Mariah-Carey, マライア・キャリー
Mariah Carey built one of the most recognisable voices in pop and R&B, a multi octave instrument she has wielded across decades of hits spanning soul, dance pop, hip hop and Christmas music. Her origins are in Huntington, New York, and her catalogue stretches from quiet storm ballads to club ready beats, with albums like Music Box, Daydream and The Emancipation of Mimi marking high points along the way. The holiday staple All I Want for Christmas Is You has taken on a life entirely its own, returning to the top of charts year after year. Her album Here For It All shows she keeps pushing forward, pulling in collaborators like Anderson.Paak, Shenseea, Kehlani and gospel group The Clark Sisters across its tracks.
