Mark Slaughter is the voice behind the glam metal band Slaughter, which he co founded with bassist Dana Strum after a stint replacing Robert Fleischman in Vinnie Vincent Invasion. The band moved more than five million records in the 1990s and landed four Top 30 Billboard hits, including "Fly to the Angels" and "Up All Night", sharing stages with Kiss, Poison, Ozzy Osbourne and Damn Yankees. As a frontman, Slaughter brought a melodic sensibility to the harder edge of glam metal that made those songs stick. Beyond the band, he has kept busy as a solo artist. His 2015 release Reflections in a Rear View Mirror showed a more reflective side, and he followed it up in 2017 with Halfway There, put out through EMP Label Group. He also makes time for charity work, regularly supporting St. Jude Children's Hospital.
