Few Italian rappers have had a run quite like Marracash. Born Fabio Bartolo Rizzo, he started out in the Dogo Gang collective before carving out one of the most consistent solo careers in Italian hip hop, racking up six studio albums in the top ten of the Italian Albums Chart and shifting over five million copies. His 2016 collab album with Gué Pequeno, Santeria, hit number one, and 2019's Persona repeated the trick, landing double platinum and spawning several charting singles including the number one track Supreme featuring Salmo and Nitro. His sound moves comfortably between straight rap and pop leaning collaborations, with features from Tiziano Ferro, Elisa, Elodie and Fabri Fibra among others. Beyond performing, he co founded the independent label Roccia Music with producer Shablo in 2013, nurturing both established names and newcomers in the Italian rap scene. His 2021 album Noi, loro, gli altri, produced entirely by Zef and Marz, showed he could still hit hard, and he followed it up with È finita la pace in late 2024.
