About
Martin Kuiper only released his first music in 2023, so getting a full rock album together this quickly is no small thing. That album, Prison Of Modesty, brings together ten personal rock tracks that grew into what the project describes as sweeping rock anthems. It was recorded with members of Money & The Man alongside Jim Zwinselman and Erik Neimeijer, then mixed and mastered by Guido Aalbers. Before the album, Kuiper put out the single Ego and its follow up Time, the latter exploring how time, choices and dreams chase each other during the transition into adulthood. The song captures the pressure and acceleration of life after leaving home, and its video leans into that theme with personal footage and symbolism.
