About
Martine got into DJing around 2004, playing as a duo with Eva Maria. They threw their own parties in squats in Amsterdam, and Martine also ran weekly Thursday drinks at the record shop KillaCutz, a spot where a love of music and a sense of community went hand in hand. Before long she was playing abroad, starting with Bar 25 in Berlin. Over the years she built an international name with sets at Watergate and Club der Visionaere in Berlin, Robert Johnson in Offenbach and Arma in Moscow, plus clubs across Europe. Festival bookings followed too, including Caprices Festival in Crans Montana and a detour to Sensation Black in the ArenA. More recently she swapped the decks for the kitchen and runs a catering business, cooking and delivering a fresh menu in Deventer every Friday. She still opened the Coalitie stage at Het Systeem festival with a set.
