About
Mckenna Grace is probably best known to film fans as Phoebe Spengler in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, but she has been quietly building a music career on the side. After signing with Photo Finish Records in 2020, she put out her debut single "Haunted House" as part of the Ghostbusters: Afterlife soundtrack, and then in 2023 dropped two EPs back to back. Bittersweet 16 leaned into pop rock territory, while Autumn Leaves took a folksier turn, showing she is genuinely interested in exploring different sounds rather than just putting her name on a vanity project. On the acting side, Grace earned an Emmy nomination for her role in The Handmaid's Tale, becoming the first child ever recognized in a guest acting Emmy category. She has built up a serious horror and genre resume through films like Annabelle Comes Home and The Bad Seed, and used songwriting as a creative tool even on set during Gifted. Both sides of her career feel intentional and self directed, which makes her one of the more interesting young artists working right now.
