Mees Salomé

About

Mees Salomé is a Dutch producer and DJ from Geldermalsen who works in deep, melodic house. He taught himself guitar, piano and drums, and at seventeen he threw himself into making his own tracks on the computer. It did not take long for that to pay off: an EP landed on Filth on Acid, the label run by Reinier Zonneveld. That first release got backing from some big names in the scene, including Joris Voorn, Kölsch and Oliver Koletzki. His sound sits between deep, melodic textures and a solid, driving groove. He also runs his own concept night, Distant, which is built around that same mix.
