Mella Dee (GB)

About

Also known as: Ryan Aitchison

Mella Dee, the stage name of Ryan Aitchison, is an English DJ and producer whose name is a play on the word melody. His 2017 track "Techno Disco Tool" is the release that put him on the map, blending the harder edges of techno with a dancefloor friendly disco sensibility. The track proved to have serious staying power, earning a Silver certification from the BPI in 2022, five years after it dropped. That kind of slow burn longevity says a lot about how well the record holds up in a mix.
