About
Meovv (say it like "meow") is a five piece K pop girl group from Seoul, put together by The Black Label, the label also home to artists like ZICO and Teddy. The group, made up of Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella, brings together members with seriously varied backgrounds: Ella Gross started modeling at age two and appeared in campaigns for Zara and H&M, Gawon is a former YG Entertainment trainee, and Japanese member Anna was an exclusive model for Seventeen Japan. Their name is actually an acronym, standing for "My Eyes Open VVide", with the double V a deliberate visual touch. They debuted in September 2024 with the single "Meow" and followed it up with "Toxic" later that year. Their first EP, My Eyes Open VVide, dropped in May 2025, and the pre release track "Hands Up" earned them their first music broadcast win on M Countdown. They have since added a Japanese single, "Me Me Me", released as a tie in with cosmetics brand Kao, and a second EP, Bite Now, arrived in June 2026.
