Meryn Bevelander Band

About

Meryn Bevelander has been playing live since he was ten years old, working stages across the Netherlands and beyond. His music sits in the blues tradition but carries a maturity that belies his age, moving between riffs that hit with real weight and quieter, more delicate moments where every note counts. He plays around 150 shows a year, in the Netherlands and abroad, and has shared stages with names like Henrik Freischlader, Leif de Leeuw and Douwe Bob, while also opening for Laurence Jones, Eric Steckel and Albert Cummings. At eleven he took the audience prize at the SENA Young Talent Guitar Award final, and in 2025 he won the Dutch Blues Award for young talent. With his band behind him, the shows pull together swinging shuffles and raw blues energy into something that feels genuinely lived in.
