Metejoor, the stage name of Joris van Rossem from Duffel, Belgium, is a Dutch language pop singer who has become one of the most recognisable voices in Flemish pop. His self titled debut album shot straight to number one in Flanders in late 2021 and held that spot for three weeks, driven by the duet '1 op een miljoen' with Dutch singer Babet, which also cracked the Dutch Top 40 at number 29. That was followed by 'Dit is wat mijn mama zei', which topped the Flemish charts across three separate weeks in the spring of 2022. Beyond the music, Metejoor has built a solid presence on Flemish television. He joined the jury for The Voice Kids in 2022, appeared in the long running soap Thuis, and took on a fictional version of himself in the telenovelle Milo. In 2025 he took part in the talent show Lift You Up as a mentor, reaching third place with his act Katrien.
