About
Melbourne's Miami Horror built their sound on a love of 1970s and 1980s dance and rock, pulling from the likes of Prince, New Order, Todd Rundgren, and Pink Floyd, then running it all through house and pop production to get somewhere distinctly their own. Producer and DJ Benjamin Plant started the project solo, with a run of remixes in 2007 that blew up on music blogs fast enough to convince him to leave film school. Their 2010 debut album Illumination hit the Australian top ten and featured collaborations with Neon Indian and Kimbra, while their song "Sometimes" later landed on the Grand Theft Auto V in game radio station. The second album All Possible Futures followed in 2015, and after the well received EP The Shapes in 2017, the group finally released their long awaited third studio album We Always Had Tomorrow in early 2025.
