Few singers have found their break quite like Michael Bublé did, performing Kurt Weill's 'Mack the Knife' at a wedding and walking away with a record deal. That 2000 performance caught the ear of producer David Foster, who signed the Burnaby born singer to his 143 Records label and produced his 2003 major label debut. That self titled album hit number one in Australia and New Zealand, went platinum in the UK, and eventually earned a 4x platinum certification in Canada, with Barry Gibb lending backing vocals to a cover of the Bee Gees classic 'How Can You Mend a Broken Heart'. Bublé sits squarely in the jazz, big band and swing space, drawing on American standards while mixing in the occasional pop sensibility. His second album 'It's Time' broke into the US top ten and reached number two in the Netherlands, while later records like 'Call Me Irresponsible' and 'Crazy Love' kept him firmly in the charts across Europe and beyond. He has sold upwards of 25 million albums worldwide, and his festive record 'Christmas' became a seasonal staple, featuring a duet with Shania Twain.
