About
Michael Foster has been holding down the drum kit for FireHouse since the very beginning, and after decades of lineup changes he remains one of only two original members still active in the band. He and guitarist Bill Leverty first crossed paths in a band called White Heat back in 1984, and after picking up vocalist CJ Snare and bassist Perry Richardson on the road through the Carolinas, the four rebranded as FireHouse and signed with Epic Records. That deal paid off in a big way, with the band going on to shift over 7 million albums worldwide and racking up a string of international hits. Foster is not the type to sit still between FireHouse commitments either. He stepped in as a fill in drummer for Warrant in late 2012, covering for Steven Sweet while Sweet recovered from a neck injury. It was a solid reminder that Foster's skills translate well beyond the band that made his name.
