Mike Bahía burst onto the Colombian music scene in 2015 with his debut single "Buscándote", a track that quickly crossed borders and put this Cali artist on the international map. Before going solo, he spent nearly seven years as the frontman of rock band Capzula, but it was in the latin pop and reggaeton lane where he really found his footing. Songs like "Estar Contigo" and "La Muñeca" became radio staples across Colombia, and in 2017 he dropped his first album "Yo Soy", produced by Grammy winner Sky, featuring collaborations with Bonny Lovy and Jamaican artist Red Rat. The track that truly elevated him was "Amantes", a collab with Greeicy Rendón that sat at number one on the National Report charts for six straight weeks. He has also shown range beyond music, composing the main theme for the TV series Francisco el matemático: Clase 2017 and competing on the dance reality show Mira quién baila. By 2021 and 2022, the RIAA had certified five of his singles, including the platinum certified "Detente" with Danny Ocean and "Esta Noche" with Greeicy.
