About
Also known as: Angel of Australia, Mirusia Louwerse
An Australian Dutch soprano with a voice that has carried her across concert halls worldwide, Mirusia built much of her reputation performing alongside André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra. She mixes beloved classical repertoire with a warm, accessible stage presence that keeps audiences singing along one moment and reaching for a tissue the next. Her Christmas single Snowflake became one of her signature pieces, and festive programming is a real strength of hers, blending traditional carols, operatic arias and Australian Christmas music into something that feels genuinely personal rather than packaged. Originally from Brisbane, Mirusia has made the Netherlands a second home, and that dual identity shows up in her work. Her shows are known for being genuinely fun, balancing humor with emotion in a way that feels more like an intimate gathering than a formal concert. Audiences across all ages tend to leave with a lot more warmth than they arrived with.
