Miss Monique, the stage name of Ukrainian DJ and producer Alesia Arkusha, built her reputation on the progressive house scene in Kyiv before becoming one of the most recognised female electronic artists in Europe. Her YouTube channels, Mind Games and MiMo Weekly, helped drive her audience globally, with some videos racking up over 24 million views. Her green hair is as much a signature as her sound, which weaves progressive house tightly together with melodic techno and trance. She founded her own label, Siona Records, in 2019, using it not just to release her own music but to spotlight Ukrainian producers every March. Her remix work is seriously impressive: she flipped Sied van Riel's Rush into the best selling progressive house track on Beatport in 2022, and has reworked tracks for David Guetta, Madonna and Robbie Williams's dance project Lufthaus. In 2024 she made her debut on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and entered the DJ Mag Top 100 at number 75, a first for her.
