About
Performing as doeyedfairie, Mollie Elizabeth makes dreamy, hyperfeminine pop with a distinct vintage soul. Her sound pulls heavily from 1950s and 1960s vocalists like Rosemary Clooney and Frank Sinatra, filtered through a whimsical aesthetic that owes as much to Audrey Hepburn as it does to modern social media sensibility. Her primary instrument is the ukulele, which gives her songs a delicate, almost fragile quality that suits the style perfectly. She first broke through when a raw demo of "Vegas Venetians" went viral, and the finished version released in early 2025 only built on that momentum. Signing with Neon Gold Records, she put out her debut EP Dirty Blonde to strong reviews, scoring a 4.5 out of 5 from CrypticRock. "Run Rabbit" then took off on TikTok ahead of its full release in 2026, cementing her as one of the more distinctive new voices in indie pop.
