Morgan Wade makes country music with a real lived in quality to it. Her 2021 breakthrough album Reckless, produced with Sadler Vaden and Paul Ebersold, drew comparisons to a hardened Sheryl Crow and earned genuine critical attention, with Rolling Stone describing her voice as worn leather and her songwriting as portraits of relationships that feel strongest at their breaking point. The album charted on Billboard's Top Heatseekers and its deluxe edition, released through Arista Nashville, even included a cover of Elvis Presley's Suspicious Minds. She followed Reckless with Psychopath in 2023, which came with a music video for the single Fall in Love with Me featuring her close friend Kyle Richards. Then came Obsessed in 2024, led off by the single 2AM in London. Her fifth release, The Party Is Over (Recovered), mixes new material with demos and unreleased songs, showing she has no interest in slowing down.
