About
Moses Patrou plays the Hammond B3 organ like someone who grew up on New Orleans music, moving between R&B, soul, rock and jazz without breaking a sweat. His sound gets compared to Dr. John and Allen Toussaint, and that Crescent City spirit runs right through his playing. Then there's the voice. People often liken its warmth to Bill Withers, which tells you a lot about the soulful side of what he does. Backed by a band that leans hard into the groove, he writes funky, hook heavy songs that pull you straight down to the American Deep South. Confessions Of A Fool is one of his albums, and it's a good place to hear what he's about.
