About
Moxie, the London DJ and label founder behind the On Loop imprint, has spent over a decade quietly becoming one of the most respected selectors in the UK underground. Her NTS Radio residency is one of the station's longest running, and when Time Out, Mixmag, and Pitchfork all flag the same DJ mix in the same year, you start to understand why Resident Advisor places her among the top 1000 electronic music artists globally. The Guardian summed up her sound as defining a joyous, breakbeat friendly corner of the house and techno underground, which tracks with Mixmag's read of her as a curator first, a selector in the truest sense rather than a producer chasing trends. On Loop, the label and events company she launched in 2016 to spotlight women in electronic music, landed in Mixmag's Top 20 Labels of 2017 and picked up a DJ Mag nomination for Best Compilation. She performed at Glastonbury in 2019, and her NTS slot continues to this day.
