About
Writing in Dutch, Mus Damé crafts intimate, storytelling pop and folk songs built around acoustic guitar. Her music circles around themes of vulnerability, connection and self reflection, and her background in psychology gives her lyrics an emotional depth that never tips into pretension. The comparison that gets thrown around is a Dutch language, female counterpart to Noah Kahan, and it is easy to hear why: there is a warmth and honesty to her sound that feels personal without being navel gazing.
