About
Also known as: Musica Aphion
Musica Amphion is a baroque ensemble from Arnhem that draws its players from the wider Dutch early music scene, with members active across many of the Netherlands' leading baroque groups. Their repertoire takes in the great composers of the Italian and German baroque traditions, including Vivaldi's deeply moving Nisi Dominus and Bach's cantata Vergnügte Ruh, beliebte Seelenlust. Both pieces sit comfortably at the heart of what the ensemble does: bringing serious, high quality baroque performance to Dutch concert stages.
