About
Natalia Nykiel went from a fourth place finish on The Voice of Poland to one of the country's most recognisable pop names. Her breakout was "Bądź duży", a track that went diamond in Poland and won Best Video at the 2015 Eska Music Awards. "Error" followed, hit number one on the Polish singles chart and also went diamond. Her second album, Discordia, was called the most significant Polish release of 2017 by leading Polish media and earned a Fryderyk nomination, while the 2019 EP Origo won her one. Origo was her first release on the international market, with writing help from Stevie Aiello and Daley, plus a sampled slice of Paramore's "Careful" on "Volcano". She was picked as an official SXSW 2020 artist too. After parting ways with Universal she went independent and now works on English and Polish projects side by side, including the 2024 EP Atom. She also hosts a podcast about Latin music.
