About
Also known as: Natalie Belle Bergman
Natalie Bergman channels real grief into something transcendent. After her father and stepmother were killed in a car accident in 2019, she spent a week in silent retreat at a New Mexico monastery, and the experience poured directly into her debut solo album Mercy, released on Third Man Records in 2021. The record blends gospel and folk with a lo fi warmth, and it earned her a collaboration with Beck, covering a 1975 soul single and getting one of her own tracks remixed by him. Before going solo, Bergman was already half of the psychedelic pop duo Wild Belle, formed with her brother Elliot, who released three albums across the 2010s. Her second solo album, My Home Is Not in This World, came out on Third Man Records in July 2025, preceded by the single "Gunslinger". Whether fronting a duo or recording alone, her music sits at a fascinating crossroads of indie pop, gospel sincerity, and raw personal conviction.
