About
Also known as: Nayeon, ナヨン, 나연, 임나연
Nayeon made history in 2022 when her solo debut EP, Im Nayeon, cracked the top ten of the US Billboard 200, a first for any South Korean soloist. It also hit number one on South Korea's Circle Album Chart, and the lead single "Pop!" climbed to number two on the Circle Digital Chart and into the top ten in six countries. She's also one of the nine members of Twice, who were formed through the reality show Sixteen. She followed it up in 2024 with a second EP, Na, led by "ABCD" and featuring Sam Kim and Julie of Kiss of Life. It landed her another number one album and another Billboard 200 top ten. More recently, her cover of Ikimonogakari's "Kimagure Romantic" took off on social media after a Japan festival set, pulled the original back onto streaming charts, and got a proper digital release at the original artists' request.
