About
Neko Light Orchestra is a French ensemble of twenty musicians who specialize in reimagining soundtracks from fictional worlds. Rather than straight orchestral arrangements, they blend melodic rock instrumentation with the kind of sweep and scale you'd expect from a full band, making the music feel alive rather than reverential. Their programme has included full concerts dedicated to the music of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, and they have built a devoted following on the strength of those shows. One of their signature productions is Echoes of Hyrule, a concert journey through the music of The Legend of Zelda. The set travels across the whole lifespan of the series, from the original game through Ocarina of Time all the way to Breath of the Wild, tracing the sonic world of Hyrule from its earliest 8 bit roots to its most expansive recent chapters.
