About
Also known as: Facing West, Nēoni
Neoni is a duo made up of sisters Caitlin and Sidney Powell, and their sound sits at a compelling crossroads of dark pop, rock and electronic music. There is a cinematic quality to what they do, something dramatic and emotionally charged that carries through both their recordings and their live shows. Their album 'How To Kill A Fairytale' takes that aesthetic further than anything they had released before, built around the idea of dismantling the myth of the perfect ending and rewriting it with resilience and self assurance. Live, their performances match that same theatrical intensity, making them a striking act to catch in person. Within the alt pop world they have carved out a genuinely distinct space for themselves.
