About
Niels van der Gulik is a Dutch singer who takes on the vocal role of Art Garfunkel in the theatre concert Simon & Garfunkel On Tour, alongside singer and guitarist Frank Kooijman. Together they perform the music of Simon & Garfunkel, covering both well known hits like Mrs. Robinson and The Sound of Silence and lesser known gems from the duo's catalogue. The show traces the story of the two New York musicians, from their rise in the 1960s to the tensions that ran through their partnership. Van der Gulik and Kooijman are accompanied by instrumentalist Richard Heijerman, and the production leans into the close two part harmonies that made Simon & Garfunkel famous.
