About
Nomads Radio play raw surf and garage rock built on catchy hooks and a lot of noise. The Enschede band sits in the same grubby corner as Osees and Ty Segall, though they pump the sound up into something that's clearly their own. Their live shows are loud, sweaty and not really built for standing still. The trio is Jesse Pot up front, with Nanne Hatzman on drums and Jelle Beumer on bass. Their second EP, Daydreamer, packs in six psychedelic tracks about growing up, love, personal fears and the everyday absurdities of life. Pot and the rhythm section pushed the boundaries of garage rock and sharpened them along the way. Luca De La Haye of Badminton mixed and engineered the record.
