Nova Twins are Amy Love and Georgia South, a London duo who have spent a decade gleefully smashing the boundaries between punk, grime, hip hop and metal into something that sounds like nothing else in British rock. Tom Morello called them "the best band you've never heard of" after they supported Prophets of Rage, but the secret is well and truly out now. Their 2022 album Supernova landed them a Mercury Prize shortlist, two BRIT Award nominations, and a Band of the Year title from Kerrang!, while The Guardian described it as a record that "destroys the narrative about who gets to make rock music". Elton John flagged them as one of his top acts to watch ahead of their Glastonbury slot on the Other Stage. Since then they have shared stages with Foo Fighters, Muse, Lenny Kravitz and plenty more, and kept the momentum going with their third album Parasites and Butterflies, released in 2025 on Marshall Records and produced by Rich Costey. Recent videos for "Monsters" and "Piranha" show the pair still operating at full tilt, bass forward and no apologies.
