About
Also known as: NOWADAYS
Nowz started out as Nowadays, a five member boy group put together by Cube Entertainment, and they came out of the gate with their own made up genre called "Days pop". The idea was that their music would blend into everyday life. They debuted in April 2024 with a single album named after the group and the lead track "OoWee", then followed up that year with "Why Not?" and the hip hop leaning "Let's Get It", which pairs heavy electronic sounds with unusual string instruments. They also put out a remake of Beast's "On Rainy Days", with Pentagon's Hui producing. In mid 2025 the group rebranded as Nowz, a name meant to suggest endless possibilities in the present moment. That reset came with their first EP, Ignition, and a pre release single called "Fly to the Youth", with labelmate Yuqi taking part as a producer. The lineup is Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk and Siyun. Hyeonbin, the leader, had already been through Produce X 101 before debuting.
