No Strings Attached selling over a million copies in a single day is still one of the most jaw dropping sales feats in pop history, and it tells you everything about where *NSYNC sat in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Orlando group, built around the voices of Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, and Lance Bass, perfected a blend of pop, dance pop, and blue eyed soul that produced relentless hits: 'Bye Bye Bye', 'Tearin' Up My Heart', and 'It's Gonna Be Me' hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Over 70 million records sold later, they remain one of the best selling boy bands ever assembled. After going on indefinite hiatus in 2002, the group has surfaced for a handful of memorable moments, including a VMAs reunion in 2013, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018, and a four piece set with Ariana Grande at Coachella in 2019. Most recently they got back together in 2023 to record 'Better Place' for the animated film Trolls Band Together, and also laid down a track called 'Paradise' for Timberlake's solo album Everything I Thought It Was.
