Nxdia, the Egyptian British alt pop artist also known as Nadia Ahmed, writes songs that bounce freely between Arabic and English, a bilingualism they've said comes from wanting to share a language they'd previously only spoken with their mother. Their influences read like a very specific teenage bedroom playlist: Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Stromae, and Marina Diamandis all get name checked, and you can hear the DNA of those big, emotionally loaded choruses throughout their work. After building a serious TikTok following and releasing the EP In the Flesh in 2023, Nxdia broke through with "She Likes a Boy", a queer anthem drawn from old diary entries that even found room for a Katy Perry reference. The debut album I Promise No One's Watching followed in June 2025 and hit over 100 million Spotify streams by August. Recent uploads like "Body On Me" and "More!" show them keeping that momentum going strong.
