About
NYVES is the project of Ryan Clark, best known as the frontman of Christian metal band Demon Hunter, and Randy Torres, formerly of Project 86. The duo got the project off the ground with help from a Kickstarter campaign and released their debut album Anxiety in 2015, followed by the Pressure EP in 2016. The sound steps away from Demon Hunter's heavier territory into something more atmospheric and melodic, giving Clark a different outlet alongside his prolific career in both music and graphic design. Clark handles vocals for NYVES while also juggling his role as lead singer of Demon Hunter, making the project a genuine creative sidestep rather than a vanity exercise.
