Odumodublvck, born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, is the Nigerian rapper making some of the most talked about music in modern Nigerian hip hop. His sound fuses Afrobeat with drill and grime, layering high life inspired melodies over Nigerian Pidgin English to paint vivid pictures of everyday Nigerian life. He often performs wearing the Okpu Agu hat, a traditional Igbo warrior headdress, which has become part of his signature look. He is a core member of the hip hop collective Anti World Gangstars and is signed to NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam. His 2023 single "Declan Rice" became a cultural moment when Arsenal used the song in their announcement video for signing the West Ham captain, turning a Nigerian rap track into a global football meme. Around the same time, his EZIOKWU mixtape produced chart toppers including "Blood On The Dance Floor" and "Cast", with "Cast" featuring the kind of brash lyrics that sparked real public debate. He also linked up with Tiwa Savage on "100 Million", and more recently collaborated with Don Jazzy on "Asampete", a track from the Anti World Gangstars album NOTHING CHANGED, with Don Jazzy gifting him $10,000 and letting the collective keep full royalties.
