About
Also known as: OHMYGIRL, 오마이걸
Oh My Girl started out as the sister group of B1A4, and they've spent the years since proving they can stand on their own. Their debut EP landed in April 2015 with the single "Cupid", and the summer 2016 special single album became their first to top the weekly Gaon charts. Their first solo concert, "Summer Fairy Tales", sold out in three minutes, a record for a rookie group at the time. They got their first music show trophies in January 2018 with "Secret Garden", then signed with Sony Music Japan's Ariola label and put out a Japanese debut album that hit number 1 on the Oricon daily chart. A first Korean studio album, The Fifth Season, followed in 2019, and they took part in the competition show Queendom. Along the way they've kept releasing Japanese versions of their songs, like "Nonstop" and "Dun Dun Dance", plus a goofy sub unit, Oh My Girl Banhana, with Hyojung, Yubin and Arin.
