About
One after 909 is a Dutch Beatles tribute band, and they took their name from the track on Let It Be. They've been at it for roughly fifteen years, playing theaters across the Netherlands and venturing into Belgium, France, Germany and England. Along the way they've landed on some pretty hallowed ground: the Cavern Club in Liverpool, the Indra Club in Hamburg and the International Beatles Day in Mons. The core of the band is four musicians, and the setlist runs past a hundred songs, from Please Please Me all the way to The End. Expect the big hits alongside deeper album cuts, the Abbey Road medleys and the rooftop concert material. They dress the part and use the original instruments, but they don't try to imitate the voices. For the richer later arrangements they sometimes team up with the Blue Meanies, a brass ensemble, and occasionally a string quartet.
