About
Otilka Quartet describes itself as an ensemble of curious musicians, and that curiosity shapes everything they do. Founded in 2020, the string quartet has moved quickly through the concert circuit, building a reputation for programmes that mix standard repertoire with works by lesser known composers. In 2025 they won the Kersjesprijs. Their approach sits comfortably between reverence for tradition and a genuine desire to push at the boundaries of what a quartet can be. Whether working through well loved classics or shining a light on neglected scores, they bring the same enthusiasm to both.
