About
Partiboi69, the Australian DJ and producer born Fintan Felix Bradley, runs his own label Unprotected Records specifically so he can drop tracks on his own terms without the demo merry go round. He originally worked under the name Stingray before switching to the Partiboi69 alias in 2018, and his sound pulls from house, techno, g house, and miami bass into something genuinely sweaty and low end heavy. His 2023 Boiler Room set in Bengaluru racked up over 1.5 million YouTube views and put him firmly on the global club radar. He has also linked up with Irish DJ and producer Kettama under the combined name KETBOI69, taking their joint show on an Australian tour called Taste the Grapes. His work has not been without controversy either: a 2022 Resident Advisor piece raised questions about his sampling of ghettotech and black artists, a debate that followed him into wider conversations about genre ownership in electronic music.
