One third of the reason Little Mix became the first group to win The X Factor UK, Perrie Edwards spent over a decade helping turn that girlband into one of Britain's best selling acts, racking up six studio albums and nineteen UK top ten singles along the way. When Little Mix went on hiatus after their Confetti Tour in 2022, she signed with Columbia Records and started laying the groundwork for a solo career that would prove she had plenty to say on her own terms. Her debut solo single "Forget About Us" landed in the UK top ten in April 2024, and she kept the momentum going with "Tears", "You Go Your Way" and "If He Wanted to He Would". The self titled album Perrie arrived in September 2025 and went straight to number three on the UK Albums Chart. Pop at its most direct, the record made a clear case that stepping out from a beloved group was exactly the right move.
