About
Also known as: Jean Pierre van der Sluis
Peter Douglas has spent four decades on stage as one of the Netherlands' most dedicated interpreters of Frank Sinatra's songbook. His connection to that music traces back to age seven, when he first heard 'Strangers in the Night' and became captivated by Sinatra's world. That early fascination never left him, and it shaped an entire career built around traditional pop and vocal jazz. His show MY WAY, performed with The Peter Douglas Quartet, takes audiences through that personal musical journey, weaving together the big showstopping Sinatra classics and the quieter, more intimate songs that made Sinatra so beloved. The production draws a line between Sinatra's path and Douglas's own, finding the places where the two stories meet.
