About
Pieces of Tomorrow is a concert format where classical music and pop sensibilities meet. Over the course of roughly an hour, the audience hears excerpts from major orchestral works performed by a full symphony orchestra, with lighting and visuals woven in to amplify the sound. What sets it apart from a standard classical evening is the atmosphere: drinks are welcome in the hall, and host DJ St. Paul talks with the conductor and musicians between pieces, unpacking the stories behind the music. After the main programme wraps up, the night continues with St. Paul spinning danceable tracks and the musicians mingling with the crowd.
