Pluk Dan, a group from Enschede, makes Dutch language pop that sits at a genuinely unusual crossroads: existential lyrics combined with an experimental synth sound. Their shows are designed as interdisciplinary experiments, and the music somehow manages to be both philosophical and danceable, unsettling and familiar at the same time. The motto that drives them sums it up well: only one day will be your last, so let that one rot and make the most of the rest.
