About
Pop Evil have been putting Michigan hard rock on the map since 2001, and they've built a reputation for the kind of heavy, anthemic sound that gets songs onto Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. "Trenches" and "Waking Lions" both topped that chart, and "100 in a 55" spent 30 weeks on the Active Rock chart, which is no small feat. Their catalog spans from the raw club days of their debut Lipstick on the Mirror through the arena ready War of Angels, and the band has shared stages with Judas Priest and Whitesnake along the way. Fronted by Leigh Kakaty, Pop Evil sit comfortably in the space where hard rock meets alternative metal, big hooks, crunchy riffs, and choruses built for maximum volume. They have kept busy in recent years too, putting out music videos for tracks like "Skeletons" and "Paranoid (Crash and Burn)", with "Wishful Thinking" arriving in early 2025.
